The Green Island Board of Education recently approved Monday, April 8, 2024, as a day without school.
The district had built in four days for potential snow days that were not needed this year, and therefore, school will be closed on Monday, April 8, for students and staff.
April 8 is the day of the solar eclipse that will be visible to the north and the west of the Capital Region. The three remaining planned snow days will be discussed and additional days off will be decided at the March 18, 2024, board of education meeting.
