Just as we honor students for exemplary work, it’s just as important to recognize the incredible staff who make that growth possible every day.
We’re proud to recognize Mrs. Nicole Ford, who has been a dedicated educator at Heatly for nearly 20 years.
Nicole was recently nominated for News Channel 13’s Top Teacher. While she wasn’t selected, we all know—she’s absolutely our top teacher.
Nicole is a shining example of The Heatly Way, modeling communication, feedback, collaboration, professionalism, and trust . Her classroom is rooted in the principles of Visible Learning, where students know what they’re learning, why they’re learning it, and how to get there. She cultivates critical learner dispositions such as resiliency, self-motivation, self-regulation, and teamwork—empowering students not just to learn, but to lead.
Whether she’s supporting academic success, promoting personal growth, or collaborating with colleagues, Nicole brings her heart and expertise to everything she does.
