On Wednesday, April 24, twenty-one Heatly 11th and 12th graders visited the New York State Museum.
Students learned about the Native American peoples including the Indigenous Art exhibit, the Adirondack wilderness and industry from the 1800’s, the NY Metropolis exhibit displaying the history of NYC in chronological order, and the extensive minerals collection which contains hundreds of specimens.
Students also had the opportunity to ride the historic carousel at the end of the tour.
