Through the month of May, Heatly students organized food items, infant needs, and hygiene supplies to donate to the Food Pantries for the Capital District, a coalition of more than 65 food pantries in Albany, Rensselaer, Saratoga, and Schenectady counties.
The total amount of items collected reached over 500. Each grade competed to win a pizza prize for the grade in elementary and high school that won the most points.
The elementary winner is 4th Grade, and the Secondary winner is 12th Grade.
