On Tuesday, October 10, 2023, an admissions counselor from Hudson Valley Community College, Elise Chan, visited Heatly School to discuss next steps in applying, financial aid options, and the programs offered.
Thirteen Heatly students discussed their future with the admissions counselor and potential scholarship opportunities such as the Excelsior Scholarship. Many of the students completed their application on the spot.
Hudson Valley Community College offers the following courses: Health Science/Nursing, Business Admin (AAS), Criminal Justice (AAS), Construction (Certificate), HVAC, Individual Studies, Business Admin (AAS) with a focus on Computer Information Systems, Individual Studies with an emphasis on Digital Media, and Liberal Arts & Science.
School Counselor Nicole Labate said, “We celebrate our students’ choice in taking the next steps of their academic journey. I am proud of their determination in achieving their goals!”
