Ryan McDermott is off to a great start to his junior year. The kind 11th grader has been diligent in making sure his schoolwork is completed and all work is handed in on time—despite a heavy course load. “He has started the school year strong and has done well keeping up with his classes,” said Mrs. Pelletier. Ryan’s dedication to his school work is just one of the many reasons he’s been named Heatly’s October “Student of the Month.”
In addition to being a hardworking student, Ryan is always willing to lend a helping hand to his fellow classmates. His positive attitude is infectious and can make anyone’s day better. “He’s hardworking, helps other students, has a positive attitude throughout the day and contributes positively to the school environment,” said Mr. Mason.
Furthermore, Ryan strives to be an example to all Heatly students, both inside and outside of the classroom. “He’s consistently kind, hardworking and focused. He’s also a model student in the hallway,” said Mrs. Distasio.
Congratulations Ryan!
